Alert-only platform: can one connected user's token serve market data for other users' strategies?

  • I run an alert-only platform (no order placement at all — users place trades themselves in their own broker).
Each user connects their own Angel account via publisher login.

Question: currently market data fetched using one connected user's token is used to
evaluate strategies for other users too (only index data — NIFTY/BANKNIFTY/FINNIFTY/SENSEX).

    1. Is this permitted under SmartAPI terms, or must each user's strategy be driven only
by data fetched with that user's own token?
    2. Is there a platform/vendor level data account option for this use case?
    3. Since we never place orders, do the static-IP / algo-provider requirements apply to us at all?

    Thanks. @admin

  • @kp_rahul @admin gentle reminder — 4 days, no response yet. This is a compliance question and I'd rather get it right before onboarding users. Even a short pointer to the relevant clause in the SmartAPI terms would help.
