          IPV6 is supported in a beta version. It will be rolled out to everyone soon.

            @admin Thanks for responding. Any expected timeline?

            We are literally losing Angel customers everyday due to this limitation.

            This is a loss for Angel as well.

              @admin I had a hard time explaining this to your email support team & they never understood. So I am sharing my details below:

              A simple nslookup command can tell you that your API lacks IPv6 support.

              ZERODHA

              nslookup -type=AAAA api.kite.trade 8.8.8.8
              Server:  dns.google
              Address:  8.8.8.8

              Non-authoritative answer:
              Name:    api.kite.trade
              Addresses:  2606:4700::6810:2232
                        2606:4700::6810:2132

              UPSTOX

              nslookup -type=AAAA api.upstox.com 8.8.8.8
              Server:  dns.google
              Address:  8.8.8.8

              Non-authoritative answer:
              Name:    api.upstox.com.cdn.cloudflare.net
              Addresses:  2606:4700:4401::6812:284d
                        2a06:98c1:3109::ac40:93b3
              Aliases:  api.upstox.com

              ANGEL ONE

              nslookup -type=AAAA apiconnect.angelone.in 8.8.8.8
              Server:  dns.google
              Address:  8.8.8.8

              Name:    apiconnect.angelone.in

              (No IPv6 address returned for ANGEL ONE)

                @namrata When they say, it is supported in beta version that means the url is not same, i.e apiconnect.angelone.in.

                  @algo_trading_50 Hey Genius,

                  I have been working with investment banks for last 20 years, could you please keep your knowledge in your pocket.

                  I know if it's in beta the url would be different. I want them to make it live in production.

                  Why are you doing tech support work for Angel for free? Spend time doing something productive which pays good money!

                    Just a normal user here. Seeking info help.
                    Is setting up IPv6 save money than setting up IPV4 from ISP ?

                      @namrata This is not a dedicated support portal where only Angelone is going to respond but a community driven support portal. Clearly you haven't learnt how to behave publicly in your 20 years of professional career. Additionally, your frustration doesn't add any value to the discussion in any way. Thank you.

                        @algo_trading_50 Yeah you're right.

                        I have been trying to chase these people for last 6 months on email to get IPv6 support ready.

                        And they still do not have it. Their business is literally getting affected. But no-one seems to care. These guys are way behind other leading brokers when it comes to tech.

                        They added support for registering static IP on api screen (which they claim as "hurray...ipv6 supported") but their servers do not support IPv6 natively as clearly shown above with help of nslookup command.

                        Their email support team is still failing to understand what IPv6 support really means....

                        I was promised a delivery of this feature in the month of Jan & these L1 support people still fail to understand the requirement in the month of April.

                        Only God knows how frustrating can it be...

                        You keep doing your noble work... no issues with you. You unfortunately responded to the wrong person in wrong situation.
