Instrument Master API extremely slow/hanging (requests.get blocks while downloading)

Hello SmartAPI Team,
Since today (14 Jan 2026), we are facing a serious issue with the Instrument Master download endpoint.Issue
The Instrument Master file download is hanging / stalling and not completing (download stream gets stuck). This is blocking all applications which depend on master file loading — including collector pipelines and realtime websocket token bootstrapping.
Observations
Login/authentication is successful.
Issue happens specifically during the instrument master download step.
Download does not complete and keeps waiting indefinitely (stuck mid-stream).
This was working normally on previous days; issue started today.
Impact
This is a production blocker because without instrument master:
option token mapping cannot be done,
expiry/token bootstrapping cannot be completed,
realtime subscriptions cannot start.
Request
Kindly confirm:
Is there any outage / latency issue in the Instrument Master endpoint today?
Any changes in master URL / backend caching / format?
ETA for resolution or alternate stable endpoint for master download.
Please treat this as high priority since it impacts all applications dependent on SmartAPI master file.
