SmartAPI Registration Help – Static IP and Redirect URL for Python Dashboard

    Hello,

    I am new to SmartAPI.

    I have created a Python trading dashboard on my MacBook for viewing Nifty, Bank Nifty and Sensex market data.

    While creating my API application, it is asking for a Redirect URL.

    I do not have a website.

    Please tell me what URL I should enter for a local Python application using PIN/TOTP login.

    You can use google url in redirect url and leave postback url empty.
    Also, you can set one primary and one secondary static ip, which can be updated once per week.
    Ask AI for exact step by step guide.

    Thank you for your guidance.

    I am creating NiftyPaperLab, a Python-based market-data and paper-trading dashboard on my MacBook.

    I will use Client Code, PIN and TOTP authentication, not browser-based redirect login.

    Could an official SmartAPI moderator please confirm whether https://www.google.com/ is acceptable as the Redirect URL for this type of application, without exposing any login tokens?

    My Static Public IPv4 activation is currently pending.

    Hello SmartAPI Support Team,

    I am trying to register my NiftyPaperLab application.

    I have completed the following:

    • Enabled TOTP authentication.
    • Activated and verified my Static Public IPv4.
    • Entered the required registration details.
    • Used the Google Redirect URL suggested in this forum.

    However, clicking Add displays "Internal Error".

    After refreshing, the website still shows "No Apps Added".

    Please check why application creation is failing and confirm a safe Redirect URL for my PIN/TOTP-based Python dashboard.
