OpenAPIScripMaster.json download truncates mid-transfer on both angelbroking.com and angelone.in
-
Body:
Since ~03:30 UTC (09:00 IST) on 21-Aug-2026, fetching the instrument master
(OpenAPIScripMaster.json) has been failing consistently — not a plain
timeout, the connection is being cut mid-download.URLs affected (both, same behavior):
- https://margincalculator.angelone.in/OpenAPI_File/files/OpenAPIScripMaster.json
What I'm seeing (direct curl tests, not just our app):
- Attempt 1 (HTTP/2): connection reset with
HTTP/2 stream 0 was not closed cleanly: INTERNAL_ERRORafter ~2MB of the ~37MB file. - Attempt 2 (forced HTTP/1.1):
transfer closed with 36762234 bytes remaining to readafter ~190KB. - Read timeouts on shorter-timeout attempts before that.
So this isn't network slowness on my end — the server/CDN is closing the
stream before the file finishes, on both domains, regardless of HTTP
version.Impact: can't refresh the instrument/scrip master, which blocks
resolving F&O contract tokens (option strike/expiry lookups) entirely. Is this a known issue on your end? Any ETA for a fix, or has the delivery
method for this file changed recently (e.g. now expects range requests /
chunked download)?Thanks.
