Historical API returns JUN contract when JUL month is expected

Hi,
I’m trying to retrieve the July Nifty futures contract data. However, I noticed that for the days prior to the June expiry, the Open, High, Low, and Close values correspond to the June contract instead of the July contract.

Could you please clarify if this is the expected behavior, or is there a way to retrieve the July contract data for those days?
